Plan your Staycation

You really don’t have to spend a lot of money on a vacation. Some simple planning can have you all remembering that special holiday you had just at staying home. First important step is really taking a vacation – no work, no “I just need a minute to” . Then it is some careful planning and research into what is going on right in your back yard. All communities have events during the summer. Take advantage of those. If you have some favorite friends or family plan a special day in the back yard or at a lake or park nearby. Plan a scavenger hunt, bocce ball tournament, etc. Set up an inflatable pool and invite even the adults to have a splash! Set up a volleyball net in the yard and have a competition with prizes.
